For out of town guests, we have arranged room blocks at two hotels in Bethesda, Maryland, which are across the street from each other and about three miles away from the Woodend Mansion. Both hotels are near the Bethesda Metro stop, which is on the Red Line, about a 20 minute ride from downtown Washington. |

Please click here to book online.  7335 Wisconsin Avenue Bethesda, Maryland Our event rate at this recently-renovated all suites hotel is $135/night for a king bed room, and $152/night for a room with two queen beds, with both including breakfast. We have arranged for a 32-passenger bus to provide roundtrip transportation between the Hilton Garden Inn/Marriott Residence Inn and the Woodend Mansion for our out-of-town guests on the day of the wedding. The bus will leave the hotels at 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., and will return following the reception. For guests flying into the Washington area, there are three area airports convenient to the Woodend Mansion and the hotels above: Reagan Washington National Airport (24 miles), Dulles International Airport (28 miles), and Baltimore-Washington International Airport (35 miles). Please note that National Airport is the only airport that is easily connected by public transportation to the hotels above (about a 40 minute ride on the Metro). However, taxis are available from all three airports. |
